  1. I recently read I’ll Give You the Sun and fell in love with Jandy Nelson’s style of writing! You should definitely check out Jenny Han she has a similar style!

  2. I’ll Give You the Sun is just such an amazing book! It is so colorful, the imagery, the description of the emotions and feelings, it is just beautiful!! I hope you like it!!
Have you read anything else from Jandy Nelson? I have “The Syke is Everywhere” but I haven’t start it yet!
I review I’ll Give you the Sun if you want to check it out :3

      1. Thank you!!!

Kristin… it is beautiful… you will be gasping and shivering throughout the book… there are some quotes that I HAD to save or liked in Goodreads <3

  3. I’ll Give You the Sun was such an unexpected read!! So many emotions!! I’ve had The Nightengale on my shelf for months and haven’t gotten to it either. Can’t wait to hear what you think of it!

  4. I’ve had I’ll Give You the Sun on my TBR for so long now. I’m glad to see you’re enjoying it. I really need to get around to reading it, lol. Impatiently waiting on getting my hands on Gentlemen’s Guide. I’m next in line at my library, so hopefully at some point this month I’ll get it.

  5. Fantastic books!!! I’m almost done with Gentleman and loved it so far. It was very charming and had such an unique voice. Loved OVE and hated Nightingale.;-) happy reading!!!

      1. I’m pretty sure I’m in the minority. I’m not into overly emotional and tear jerkers of books. And the topic of Nightingale guarantees a certain outcome, that just comes with a WWII novel. I shouldn’t have touched it – next time I’ll be smarter.;-)

  6. I definitely need to read the Nightingale! I almost always enjoy historical fiction, especially when it’s set in WWII. And I’ve heard great things about A Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue – I need to check it out soon!

  7. Oh I’m so, so happy you’re loving I’ll Give You The Sun! It is one of my favorite books of all times, alongside with…The Sky is everywhere, ahah. Jandy Nelson is such a talented author 🙂 I hope you’ll keep on enjoying the book until the end 🙂 Happy reading, Kristin! 🙂

  8. Great books!

Let’s see, I am currently reading Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo, I recently finished reading Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur, and next I believe I am reading The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde and/or Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco.

  9. I didn’t want The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice & Virtue to end EVER either! *sobs* that book was a ton of fun to read, right up there with My Lady Jane 🙂 I have The Nightingale & A Man Called One on my Fiction TBR, both look soon promising. I hope you enjoy your new reads 🙂

  10. OHMYGOD!! YOU HAVE THE NIGHTINGALE RIGHT THERE! You haaaaave to read it. Like drop everything, and read it! (Maybe not everything, because your current read is pretty amazing too!) But oh my, I am so excited that there is a historical fiction lover and Nightingale both on the same post!!! This book is just 100 shades of BEAUTIFUL! Let me know if you want to discuss this book while reading!

      1. Oh I’m glad! Also , recommend me some historical favourites! Because I’m a major historical fiction fan too! Have you read Between shades of grey by Ruta Sepetys?
